At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound, we’re all here for the same mission: to help young people thrive through the power of mentorship. Every match, every partnership, every shared story brings us closer to a world where all youth feel seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
We are launching a new effort to deepen our impact on the Tacoma area — a community full of strength, resilience, and promise. We created a dedicated group of team members to focus their time and care on connecting more youth with mentors throughout Pierce and Kitsap Counties. As part of this effort, we’re paying special attention to the unique needs of youth in the city of Tacoma. This new team is excited to support Tacoma kids and parents.

 | Monique Dubose, Regional Director Tacoma Pierce/Kitsap Counties With decades of experience in the military, education, and community leadership, Monique leads with both structure and heart. Her work is about helping people find their voice, build resilience, and trust in their own potential. “My career has been focused on empowering people to believe in themselves and trust that they can conquer anything.” |

 | Ashe, Match Coordinator (Group programs and Lunch Buddies) Whether supporting group sessions or coordinating site-based programs like Lunch Buddies, Ashe shows up with heart and consistency — creating spaces where youth feel seen, safe, and celebrated. |
 | Lynese, Group Coordinator Lynese leads the Group Mentoring Program with deep empathy and experience, creating powerful spaces where youth feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow without fear. “Our community already holds all the power we need to create the change we want to see.”
