DONATE CLOTHING NEAR YOU

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound Donation Center provides an easy and convenient way for individuals and companies to donate clothing and textiles while supporting local youth. With over 50 donation bins located throughout King and Pierce Counties, including cities like Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue, it’s simple to drop off your new and gently used clothing and textiles. In addition, when you donate clothing, textiles, and household goods at Value Village stores near you in Burien, Lacey, and Issaquah, your donations benefit BBBS Puget Sound.

By partnering with Value Village (SAVERS), we turn your clothing and textile donations into vital funding that makes a difference in the lives of local kids. When you donate clothing and textiles, you’re not just reducing waste, you’re helping support mentorship opportunities that empower local youth to reach their full potential.

DONATING CLOTHES MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Over the last ten years, clothing and textile donations have generated over one million dollars to support thousands of Bigs and Littles. This means your bags of clothing donations contribute to creating life-long friendships that help youth do better in school, have higher self-esteem, improve their mental health, and make less risky choices.

Co-hosted by the distinguished members of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity of Tacoma, this program is for young men aged 10-15 who identify as Black or African American. Each monthly session provides a safe place for youth to speak about what’s on their minds and explore ideas with Black fraternity leaders. We tackle current events, individual legal rights, school success, and career pathways.

      What People Say

“My Little has the crayon box, and she just needs help to identify the colors. Yes, being in the corner as a Big is important, but kids are doing the thing. […] Whatever she does next is going to be brilliant. It doesn’t even matter if it takes her a while … like the opportunity to witness that was just like … oh, my gosh.”

      Anonymous Big Sister

“Having a Big is awesome! It’s like having this incredible friend who’s got my back, helping me navigate the world, and teaching me valuable life lessons.”

      Anonymous High School Little

“Big Brothers Big Sisters has been a blessing in my life. All 3 of my children have had Bigs, and each Big has been just the right person to connect with them.”

      Chavela Parent of 3 Littles
