Who is Value Village?

Value Village is a for-profit, global thrift retailer offering quality, gently used clothing, accessories and household goods. Its business model of purchasing goods from local nonprofits, reselling and recycling gives communities a smart way to shop, supports philanthropic causes and keeps more than 650 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. www.valuevillage.com

How does the partnership with Value Village benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters?

Clothing, accessories and other household items are donated on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters by dropping off the goods at a Value Village retail store. Value Village pays Big Brothers Big Sisters per pound for those items.

Value Village makes all investments in marketing, branding, collection and resale. Every donation is meaningful to us because those donations provide Big Brothers Big Sisters a stable income stream that enables us to better serve children facing adversity.
